Dr. Scott George received his BS degree from Oregon State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. George then received his DMD degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, School of Dentistry, graduating with high honors.
Following graduation, Dr. George entered the United States Air Force and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Langley AFB, Virginia. He then served as a general dentist in the US Air Force at bases in California and Florida.
Dr. George completed two years of specialty training in endodontics at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA and Keesler AFB Medical Center in Biloxi, MS. Following completion of specialty training, Dr. George served as Chief of Endodontics at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. While at Nellis, he also served as the Assistant Director of the AEGD general dentistry residency program.
After nine years of military service, Dr. George and his family moved back home to the Pacific Northwest and created Salmon Creek Endodontics in 2007. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, The American Dental Association, and the Washington and Oregon State Dental Associations. He is a past officer and president of the Clark County Dental Society. Dr. George enjoys coaching youth basketball, mountain backpacking and gardening. He and his wife Carol have four children who happily occupy all of their remaining time.
